CHANEL by Karl Lagerfeld Fall 1990 Vintage Gold Lamé High-Low Evening Dress

This spectacular vintage evening dress by Chanel from Karl Lagerfeld's Fall 1990 collection is made of olive gold lamé with a lining of raspberry red silk. The cut is very sophisticated, with the fabric of the bodice artfully gathered in horizontal pleats and delicate spaghetti straps. The dress has a stunning high-low hemline with raspberry red lining peeking out, and a spectacular back with masterfully draped fabric falling to the floor. The dress is made to the highest standards and features internal boning, mesh, an elastic underwire around the bust and a waist stay. It closes with a concealed zipper at the back, and the draped fabric over it closes with a series of concealed snaps and hook and eyes. Made in France.
